Amir accepts entering the garden but says he never entered the house and left after seeing the broken window. Diagnose the two essential drafting moves missing from the proposed sentence.
CCTV is said to show Leila Okafor entering North Yard at 21:14. Leila instructs that she arrived at 21:27, after the alarm had sounded, and waited outside the locked gate for her cousin. Draft one numbered defence-statement paragraph that identifies the disputed time, explains the dispute and states Leila's positive account.
The prosecution alleges that Tomas Reed punched Ben Lowe without warning. Tomas accepts pushing Ben once but says Ben first raised a glass bottle towards Tomas's face.
